A humanitarian response born of experience, respect, and empathy.
Resistencia Médica Inc. was founded in Connecticut by MarÃa Alejandra Hawke, a Venezuelan philanthropist and human rights advocate with more than 10 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
After witnessing firsthand child malnutrition and medical and educational barriers in vulnerable communities, she decided to channel international solidarity to create a rapid and efficient response structure.
