Resistencia Médica Inc. was founded in Connecticut by María Alejandra Hawke, a Venezuelan philanthropist and human rights advocate with more than 10 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
After witnessing firsthand child malnutrition and medical and educational barriers in vulnerable communities, she decided to channel international solidarity to create a rapid and efficient response structure.

No child should suffer from hunger, lack of medical care, or a lack of educational opportunities. Resistencia Médica Inc. is a nonprofit humanitarian organization founded with a clear purpose: to respond immediately and effectively to the gaps that hinder the development of the most disadvantaged children.
